Cinema 4D 2023 offers an exceptional experience to all Cinema 4D users and integrates this technology across the entire Maxon family. This release introduces some of our artists’ most requested features: complex modeling symmetry, in-place asset management, and native OCIO support. Unified Simulations gets artist-friendly features and supports softbody modeling. The latest update to Maxon’s Moves makes capturing facial and body movements even easier. We bring the best of Maxon technology together with Maxon One integrations to Redshift, Red Giant, ZBrush and Forger.
MODELING
The new unified modeling system allows you to create more realistic simulations with multiple objects with different modeling characteristics, such as fabrics, ropes, and soft bodies. The Unified Simulation System enables both CPU and GPU simulation and is multi-threaded for faster performance when simulating complex fabrics.
SIMULATION WITH SYMMETRY
Creating 3D objects has never been easier with a wide range of new procedural and interactive modeling tools. Automatically transform any network topology with ZRemesher. Create shapes from scratch with a variety of powerful new interactive modeling tools, many of which can also be applied procedurally using Node Capsules. Extended spline nodes provide new capsule capabilities, and improved vector import support makes working with Illustrator and SVG artwork easier than ever.
Modeling with symmetry allows you to make mirror changes in the model. Users can define symmetry using the world grid, object axis, custom stage, or even model topology.
VIEW ASSETS BROWSER FOLDERS
Powerful and flexible asset management
The Asset Browser provides easy access to libraries of pre-installed content stored locally or on the Internet, including an extensive collection of 3D objects, materials and capsules available to Cinema 4D subscribers. The library is searchable or searchable and each work contains extensive metadata and keywords. Assets are loaded on demand, so there is no need to preload large asset libraries. They are also cached on your local machine so that your favorite resources are readily available for reuse.
OCIO COLOR MANAGEMENT
OpenColorIO (OCIO) is an open source color management system that allows users to easily manage color throughout the production process in a predictable and consistent manner. In Cinema 4D, the Academy Color Coding System (ACES) allows you to create content without the limitations of a small color space. If artists have OCIO installed, they can work in ACES in current or future versions.Cinema 4D.

IMPROVED GOZ ZBRUSH CONNECTIVITY
GoZ
GoZ (for GoZBrush) is a dynamic bridge between ZBrush and other 3D packages built on a specific format file, GoZ file. Send your model from ZBrush to one of the supported applications with one click. You can also submit your maps for viewing, change the geometry, or add an element to the model. Then send the updated assets back to ZBrush with one click! GoZ works with different tools or sub-tools whether they are visible or not.
With GoZ, you can use your time to work on your model instead of managing imports and exports.
